Crescendo CVO

"After the first basic module, you grasp the basics and logic of the language, and introducing yourself becomes possible. You are expected to practice and prepare for the lesson. I set aside half an hour per week for homework: practicing via BookWidgets is enjoyable."

"My dream is to get my diploma and work in a care home. The fact that we also learn Dutch in this programme is an extra motivation for me."

"You can really see the learners grow. They speak up spontaneously and dare to make mistakes. They also use French more often outside the classroom. To me, that's the sign that it works."

"I enjoy interacting with people from very diverse backgrounds and cultures, and I like helping whenever I am called upon. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction."

"A heartwarming moment was the Christmas party with the students at Crescendo CVO. The openness of the students was truly special and made me feel like I belonged."

"I feel much prouder. Now I follow all my lessons in Dutch, and I’m really happy about that!"

"A language course at Crescendo CVO is much more than grammar or vocabulary: it’s a bridge to respect, connection, and real opportunities in our society."

"I taught six hours after my work, which brought quite a bit of pressure. I really enjoyed teaching itself. The class was motivated and at a good level. The support from the school was excellent, with clear guidance and well-prepared instructions."

"The teachers are very helpful and show a lot of patience. They correct us all the time and repeat the material we struggle with."
