Campus Tervuren was all about the Learning & Experience Week, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere on campus!
Monday evening: Spanish in the spotlight
Some of our learners enjoyed a beautiful concert by José Miguel Aranz, who shared stories about the life of poet Miguel Hernández and set his poems to music.

Tuesday: the magic of storytelling
In the morning, our English storyteller Heidi Kockaerts transported us into the enchanting world of storytelling, sharing gripping and inspiring tales from around the globe.
In the evening, it was time for the French storyteller to shine. He delighted the audience with simple stories and playful riddles. Thanks to his expressive gestures and facial cues, even Level 1 learners could follow along with ease.
On Tuesday evening, the short film festival also took place. Around fifty students from four different classes attended. After watching each film, the groups were mixed to complete the accompanying exercises (mainly discussion questions). It was great to see the students at work.

Wednesday: exploring Tervuren
On Wednesday morning, former NT2 colleague Dirk Tavernier guided a group of BSB students through the beautiful Tervuren Park, passionately recounting its rich history.

Thursday: Conversing in Languages!
On Thursday morning, students practiced Dutch, French, English, or Spanish in small groups under the guidance of native speakers.
In the afternoon, the Spanish students celebrated “Navidad en México.” It turned into a real party with guacamole, pico de gallo, quesadillas, hot chocolate, and an authentic piñata filled with treats.

Firday: the perfect way to wrap up the week!
Whether enjoying a great movie or revisiting the stunning Goya exhibition at Bozar, everyone had a wonderful time.
A successful day to end the week on a high note!
