A New Start in Drogenbos
Najoua Zrigui is 34 years old and lives in Drogenbos. She originally comes from Morocco and speaks Arabic and French. In 2013, she started her journey at Crescendo CVO with NT2 lessons up to level 2.3. She then followed the VOSPA program, and today she is working hard on her secondary education diploma through a combination of AAV and ICT. Her goal? To pursue a social work degree in Brussels.
Language as a Key to Pride
"VOSPA has helped me improve my language and practical skills. Thanks to the support of my teachers, I have grown stronger. Now I know I can do more than I thought and achieve my goals," Najoua says enthusiastically. “I feel much prouder. Now I follow all my lessons in Dutch, and I’m really happy about that!”
Najoua started her studies because her children attended a Dutch-speaking school. She wanted to better support them and continue her own education. “I initially wanted to become a childcare worker, but I discovered that I gain energy from interacting with people and caring for others.”
An Internship that Opens Doors
During her language internship at OCMW Beersel, Najoua stood out for her strong communication skills. She helped with translations and participated in municipal activities. “That internship was truly valuable. I still keep in touch with them.” When she obtains her diploma, she hopes to work there.
Motivation from Family
With three children and a busy family life, it isn’t always easy, but Najoua remains motivated. “I have many plans and want to keep growing. It’s doable, even if the program takes a bit longer.”
