Digital learning formats at Crescendo CVO
In addition to on-campus classes, Crescendo CVO offers various digital learning formats:
- 100% online learning: Part of the time you attend interactive online lessons together (see timetable). The rest of the time you will work with the teaching material on the online learning platform, at your own pace.
- 25%, 50%, 75% online learning: You take part of the classes on campus. For the online part, you take online classes together part of the time (see timetable). The rest of the time you will work with the course material on the online learning platform, at your own pace.
- On-campus + distance learning: You have fixed classroom sessions or shorter in-person lessons, combined with independent work on the online learning platform. The exact balance depends on your course or module. Check your schedule for details.
- 100% distance learning: There are no fixed contact moments. You study independently using the online platform, at your own pace.

- You can work independently.
- You still have regular contact with your teacher. Personal feedback is guaranteed!
- You have fewer commutes.
Requirements for successfully following an online class
✅ Active learning attitude
- You have the discipline to work independently and meet deadlines.
- You actively participate in online lessons.
- A high level of autonomy and responsibility is expected.
✅ Good infrastructure
- A computer with microphone, sound and camera (preferably NOT a smartphone). The camera should stay on during the entire class for good interaction with classmates and the teacher.
- Stable and reliable wifi
- Installation of the Teams app (you will receive a Microsoft 365 school account)
✅ Quiet physical workspace
- You can follow the lessons without being disturbed
- Your background (visual or audio) should not distract others or the teacher
✅ Sufficient digital skills
- Using a computer: keyboard and mouse
- Working with a browser
- Office skills

Online learning platform
For online lessons, you will use Teams, one of the Microsoft Office applications.
Before your first lesson, try logging in to your Crescendo CVO account and installing Teams. Here's how to do it.
